The problem with the wellness industry
I have recently realized the prevalence of MLM's (multi-level marketing) businesses that sell 'wellness' products such as supplements or essential oils, within this space of holistic wellness.
I want to make my promise loud and clear, that I will NEVER make recommendations for things in which i profit off of the affiliation. When i became certified for holistic nutrition, i took an oath of ethics and I take that very seriously. I am, at best, skeptical of the supplement industry. I won't recommend essential oils in place of medical intervention. I will never recommend you buy 'sea moss', or pay $10 for a spoonful of coconut yogurt, or whatever trendy product is popular at the time.
i believe in SCIENCE and a whole foods plant based approach. I did not get to where I am today by taking a vitamin, or by blending questionable powders into my smoothies. i got here the old fashioned way, by eating an unprocessed diet of very simple plant foods, and by making lifestyle changes. i didn't spend money on anything fancy to do so- the most expensive item in my grocery cart on any given day is walnuts.
